Coconut Macadamia Popcorn

Lightly salted popcorn meets coconut, chocolate, and macadamia nuts for a satisfying snack experience. This gourmet popcorn is delicious and easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 7 cups Popped popcorn 1/2 cup popcorn kernels if using popcorn maker
  • 2 tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp Finely shredded coconut
  • 1/4 cup Macadamia nuts
  • 3 tbsp Chocolate chips
  • pinch Himalayan sea salt

  • Popcorn Maker (optional)

Method
 

  1. Add popcorn to a large bowl.
  2. Drizzle coconut oil over popcorn. If coconut oil is solitified, first melt over the stove or microwave for a few seconds.
  3. Add shredded coconut and lightly mix to coat popcorn.
  4. Add macadmaia nuts and chocolate chips.
  5. Sprinkle with sea salt to taste if popcorn was not pre-salted.
  6. Use mixing spoons to lightly combine ingredients together and enjoy!

Notes

  • Fresh popcorn, microwave popcorn, or a ready-to-go bag of lightly pre-salted popcorn will work well in this recipe. 
  • I use dark chocolate chips, but milk chocolate or cacao chips may be substituted.
  • Unsalted macadamia nuts work well in this recipe, but for an extra salty sweet experience opt for salted macadamia nuts.
  • You may use more or less of any mix-ins to your liking!
