Method
- Add popcorn to a large bowl.
- Drizzle coconut oil over popcorn. If coconut oil is solitified, first melt over the stove or microwave for a few seconds.
- Add shredded coconut and lightly mix to coat popcorn.
- Add macadmaia nuts and chocolate chips.
- Sprinkle with sea salt to taste if popcorn was not pre-salted.
- Use mixing spoons to lightly combine ingredients together and enjoy!
Notes
- Fresh popcorn, microwave popcorn, or a ready-to-go bag of lightly pre-salted popcorn will work well in this recipe.
- I use dark chocolate chips, but milk chocolate or cacao chips may be substituted.
- Unsalted macadamia nuts work well in this recipe, but for an extra salty sweet experience opt for salted macadamia nuts.
- You may use more or less of any mix-ins to your liking!
